Description This programme gives candidates the leading edge skills for 21st century Informatics. Career destinations for the graduates of the programme include the IT Security, web and desktop application development, or continue their study on the post-graduate level. The full-time BSc (Hons) Informatics degree has been developed by IBA in co-operation with Coventry University, UK. The programme is developed, delivered and assessed by IBA, it is awarded and quality assured by Coventry University. The programme leads to a Coventry University degree award. Career Opportunities Graduates of this programme will be: Competent computing professionals, with the ability work effectively in the computing/IT industry worldwide, or as facilitators in any industry requiring computing/IT expertise. Competent to undertake research at Masters level building on the knowledge gained in the Bsc Informatics. Competent to work in the multicultural environment and project teams. About the degree This BSc (Hons) Informatics programme is a top-up degree building on previous academic education and professional experience. It is basically the third year of a three-year Bachelor education. The programme consists of 6 modules. Web API Development Information Technology and Global Development Agile Development Games and AI Open Source Development Individual Project Admission The normal requirement for this one-year top-up BSc programme is a minimum of two years’ post-secondary education (AP degree from Denmark or equivalent), or 240 CATS (APL with 120 credits at level 1 and 120 credits at level 2) obtained in an IT-related area. We also accept Higher National Diploma, Associate Degree, etc. Additionally, English language requirements must be met (equivalent to IELTS 6.0). Please see our website for the full English language requirements, as well as exemptions. Tuition Total tuition fees: DKK 75,000. EU nationals and students legally resident in Denmark at the moment of application can pay the tuition fees in two instalments.
