About this course

The goal of the programme leading to the Master of Fine Arts degree is to provide the student with the necessary prerequisites for independent and demanding artistic work on the basis of the student’s personal talents and areas of interest. The education gives the student the skills and knowledge ready to carry out independent work in the field of fine arts and to make them understand their own activities within the context of contemporary art and society where an artist may work in various roles. There is a separate application procedure (application period in August) to the 2-year studies that lead to a Master of Fine Arts degree. Studies begin in January.
