Master Master's Degree Programme in Social Exclusion (2 years), Åbo Akademi University
About this course
The world around us is constantly changing, as are the complex interactions within our increasingly globalised societies. This deepening global integration has led to economic and social restructurings that have resulted in different forms of exclusion. These different forms of social exclusion are constantly intertwined to varying effects. An example would be the ways in which language barriers prevent labour force participation both on a structural level and on an interpersonal one. The Master’s Degree Programme in Social Exclusion provides the opportunity to critically examine these complex processes from a multidisciplinary perspective. In order to grasp the multifaceted nature of the concept itself, this perspective offers a focus by which to explore the many different ways that it can be understood.
