What is free, permanently

Everything a student or teacher touches on Careermash is free: every career card, the Class Deck, printable lesson sheets, the verdict page for any career, and the parent guide version of each one. There are no logins to provision, no accounts to manage and no student data collected anywhere on the free site. That is a permanent decision, not an introductory trial.

The evidence layer

For careers leads who need paperwork alongside the lesson, there is a paid school account: it turns what your students already do on the open site into Gatsby mappable evidence, exportable reports, and a record built to survive an actual inspection. The price is published and flat: no per student charge, no quote call, no auto renewal trap.

It is currently in founding schools pilot, being built with the schools that join it for the coming autumn term. Joining the pilot is also how a school locks in the founding price before general availability.

Students never need an account either way. The paid layer adds reporting for staff on top of the free site: it never gates any content a student sees.

See it before you commit

The preview page shows exactly what the evidence layer will render, using clearly labelled sample data for a fictional school, not a real dashboard. It exists so a careers lead can judge the product itself before registering interest, not as a promise that a school's real data already exists.

The preview also states plainly what the paid layer will never do: no student accounts, no student names and no per child tracking. It aggregates anonymous usage under a school's own links, because the free site stays login free for students no matter which layer a school is on.

Joining the pilot

The interest form on the school page asks for three things only: school name, a work email, and an optional role. It exists purely to contact a school about the pilot; the stated policy is never shared, never marketed to, deleted on request.
