About this course
In Master of Science studies in Computer Science and Engineering in Oulu a student selects one of the four orientations, which are 1) Artificial Intelligence, 2) Applied Computing, 3) Computer Engineering and 4) Cyber Security. The studies provide deep knowledge in selected orientation. Master of Science studies also include optional studies that help the student to tailor the degree to meet his/her own interest. By selecting optional studies, a student can deepen his/her understanding in selected orientation, or have more broader knowledge by taking studies in other orientations. After completing the MSc studies a student can work as an computer science and engineering expert, for example designing and developing new algorithms, software, hardware and systems. MSc studies also provide the qualification required for postgraduate studies.
