About this course

Computer systems and networks is the discipline concerned with how computational infrastructure is designed, built, and maintained, covering everything from the architecture of individual machines and the protocols that allow them to communicate to the security challenges that arise when systems are connected and exposed to threat. In an age when almost every institution's critical operations depend on networked digital infrastructure, the expertise needed to design, secure, and manage these systems is in persistent and growing demand.
