At Birmingham City University this part-time programme gives you the flexibility to study alongside existing work or personal commitments while progressing toward a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering. Automotive, aerospace, defence, energy, manufacturing, consumer goods, rail, marine, and building services engineering all employ significant numbers of mechanical engineers. Roles include design engineer, manufacturing engineer, project engineer, systems analyst, and technical consultant. Many graduates pursue chartered engineer status through the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
