Master (2 years) Physics and Scientific Modelling
About this course
The programme is open for admission for students with a legal right of admission only Mathematical modelling is increasingly used in all parts of society e.g. as an analysis tool in product development and as a basis for almost all types of policy decisions. The approaches and skills that physicists are trained in have proven to be particularly suitable for applying mathematical modelling. The programme aims to produce you with competencies and methods to work with modelling in connection with problems in a large number of fields within and outside physics and natural science. The proposed programme will have a clear focus on the competencies that enable physicists to act both within and outside physics, so it is a programme that is tailored to a generalist modeller role.As a graduate from Physics and Scientific Modelling you will find employment in companies engaged in high-tech production and development in the field of environment, medicine, finance and software development, as well as in companies offering modelling and consulting services, in addition to employment in the form of research positions. Your English title will be: Master of Science in Physics and Scientific Modelling
