About this course
The degree programme in Electronics is a new international degree programme that strongly leans on long-standing national degree programme in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE). ECE has educated hundreds of electronic designers, testing engineers, project leaders, development managers, sales managers and researchers for international companies such as Nokia, Polar Electro, Elektrobit, Keysight, Bittium, Nordic Semiconductor and Mediatek. The degree programme in Electronics focuses on providing a wide range of skills and knowledge in three specialization fields - electronics design, electronics materials and components, and photonics and measurement technology. Education which is mainly organized by Circuits and Systems (CAS), Microelectronics (MIC) and Opto-Electronics and Measurement Techniques (OPEM) research units is based on the latest research excellence and prepares students to apply their skills in working life, and gives them tools for continuous learning as well.
