About this course
The Master’s Degree Program in Smart Industry is a one-year, interdisciplinary program designed for professionals aiming to lead and shape the digital transformation of modern industry. The program focuses on the integration of advanced technologies—such as AI, data analytics and cloud solutions—into smart and sustainable industrial processes. The curriculum combines professional studies (30 ECTS) with a Master’s thesis (30 ECTS), offering students a balanced mix of theoretical insight and applied research. While the program follows a unified structure, it supports two professional profiles: one for students in the field of technology aiming to advance in digitization, automation, and smart industrial systems, and one for students with a degree in laboratory services seeking to expand their role in data-driven research, quality management, and laboratory automation. Courses are conducted in English and designed to be completed alongside full-time employment. Learning takes place through interactive lectures in campus, online sessions, independent study, and assignments. The program prepares students to take on expert and managerial roles in smart industry environments, combining leadership, innovation, and technical skills to drive sustainable and data-informed development.
