Description As a graduate student in Mathematics-Economics, you will work with economic modelling and its deeper foundation in advanced mathematics and statistics . Economic modelling applies to the macro-economic calculations that are used, for example, by Danmarks Nationalbank and the European Central Bank. Other areas of use are the modelling of financial risks used by banks and insurance companies; forecasting, where interest rates or other key economic variables are predicted; and management and planning of production and traffic.
