Student Reviews
Representative reviews"Highly recommend"
I've grown so much academically and personally here. The best part: the cohort are bright and motivated, which makes the learning environment great. If I'm honest, accommodation allocation was stressful in the first year. On the city โ expensive but student welfare, housing and support are genuinely good. Overall, if you're considering PhD PHDE at Royal Norwegian Naval Academy, I'd say go for it.
"Genuinely worthwhile"
Coming here has changed how I think. The best part: the teaching staff are genuinely world-class and accessible. If I'm honest, first-year classes can be quite large. On the city โ nature is the main event โ fjords, mountains, aurora, all accessible. Overall, if you're considering PhD PHDE at Royal Norwegian Naval Academy, I'd say go for it.
"Mixed but mostly good"
It's been a mixed experience, but mostly positive. The best part: small-group tutorials really push your thinking. If I'm honest, admin can be slow to respond, especially at start of term. On the city โ everyone speaks English, but learning Norwegian is appreciated. Overall, if you're considering PhD PHDE at Royal Norwegian Naval Academy, I'd say go for it.
