Representative reviews"Exceeded expectations"
The course has exceeded my expectations. The best part: the studio culture is incredible โ you learn as much from your peers as your tutors. If I'm honest, first-year classes can be quite large. On the city โ local cost of living is manageable if you share a house in second year. Overall, if you're considering Animation at Ncg, I'd say go for it.

I was sceptical before starting โ now I'd recommend it to anyone. The best part: the studio culture is incredible โ you learn as much from your peers as your tutors. If I'm honest, some seminar groups were too big for meaningful discussion. On the city โ local cost of living is manageable if you share a house in second year. Overall, if you're considering Animation at Ncg, I'd say go for it.
"A great decision"
Honestly, one of the best decisions I've made. The best part: the teaching staff are genuinely world-class and accessible. If I'm honest, first-year classes can be quite large. On the city โ good transport links make it easy to visit other UK cities at weekends. Overall, if you're considering Animation at Ncg, I'd say go for it.
"A great decision"
Coming here has changed how I think. The best part: the final show is a proper platform โ industry people come to see it. If I'm honest, admin can be slow to respond, especially at start of term. On the city โ the city is a brilliant student city with plenty to do outside of study. Overall, if you're considering Animation at Ncg, I'd say go for it.
"Worth it overall"
Overall a solid programme but worth going in with open eyes. The best part: small-group tutorials really push your thinking. If I'm honest, admin can be slow to respond, especially at start of term. On the city โ good transport links make it easy to visit other UK cities at weekends. Overall, if you're considering Animation at Ncg, I'd say go for it.
"Solid, with caveats"
Overall a solid programme but worth going in with open eyes. The best part: access to facilities (workshop, equipment, specialist software) is genuinely first-rate. If I'm honest, would like to see more industry guest speakers in later years. On the city โ local cost of living is manageable if you share a house in second year. Overall, if you're considering Animation at Ncg, I'd say go for it.
